Life Groups Offer….

Intimate and meaningful relationships with others in our church.

A deeper understanding of God’s Word.

A fuller application of His Word in your life.

An opportunity to minister to others personally, while experiencing God at work in your life.

How often do Life Groups meet?

They meet two to four times a month on various days at various times.  Groups meet

in homes, coffee shops, over breakfast or lunch, as well as at the church.

How long do the Life Group meetings last?
They run throughout the year.  Actual meetings last about two hours.

What's a Life Group meeting like?
NBC Small Groups are designed to help individuals apply Biblical truth to one another's lives in the context of community.  There is a time of worship, Bible study (with a strong emphasis on life application), ministry time (where members can talk to one another about the implications of following Christ and to provide support to one another in prayer), and of course, a time of fellowship which often includes food!

What kind of Life Groups are available to me?

Home Life Groups
Home groups are the foundation of our Small Group Ministry.  These groups meet in homes on various nights of the week.  They are open to everyone and emphasize worship, applicational Bible study and prayer while ar the same time providing opportunities to serve and build meaningful relationships.

Women's Life Groups
Small Groups are an important part of our Women's Ministry.  Through weekly Bible Studies, women are equipped with the tools and resources necessary to become the women God has intended.  Click HERE for a current listing of studies available.

Men's Life Groups
We offer several different opportunities for men to get involved in Small Groups through both our Adult Education and Men's Ministries.  Groups range from Bible Study and Prayer groups to Accountability and Service groups.  Our purpose is to help men grow in their relationships with the Lord, their families, and with one another.

F.O.C.I.S. Life Groups
FOCIS groups meet two areas of need.  Some emphasize support and recovery, discussing Biblical principles for overcoming addictive behaviors and finding healing for great emotional pain.  Other groups are designed to refine life skills (i.e. finances, parenting, marriage, etc.) that enable you to apply God's truth to everyday life.  These groups are offered in a Small Group seminar format or Sunday School class.

Ministry Life Groups
Ministry Small Groups are groups that have come together for the purpose of giving oversight, leadership, and direction to the ministries of Northview.  These groups include but are not limited to:  Worship Ministry Team; Children's Ministry Team; Youth Ministry Team; Adult Ministry Team; Women's Ministry Team; Men's Ministry Team; Elder Board; and Staff Ministry Team.
